Over the past decade the market in residential real estate sales has seen a great deal of change. Prices have risen, the market has been very active, real estate rules have changed, “for sale by owner” has become more acceptable and the access to MLS® listings have been made available to private home sellers.

Of all the facilities available to sellers (real estate brokers, auctions, and private sales) the one that has seen the greatest growth is the private sale. The rise in private sales has spawned companies that want to help sellers with this effort. These companies basically fall into 2 categories. Companies that provide a web site for home owners to post their listing and companies that provide more comprehensive marketing packages to assist private sellers. A number of the latter groups are actually full brokerage services with fee based services rather than the traditional brokerage commissions.

So where does EASY STREET fit in? I guess you might say in the middle. EASY STREET offers our clients’ a free web based listing service as well as an à la carte menu of additional services. We do not simply offer a website and leave the seller and the buyer to deal with matters. We provide step by step instructions to both parties to make the entire process EASY.
